Windows Live Hotmail

Windows Live Hotmail: "Today starts a 'new diet'. I found out over the Christmas break that on my mothres side of the family.... there is High Blood Pressure and heart disease ontop of Thyroid and diabetes that I already knew about. So 'Diet' means something different to me this year. I pray that God helps me through this. I have to lose weight and get in shape. I would like to lose 35 lbs- which I had lost once before and was keeping the weight off.... until this past summer. Why is it so hard to do something that you know is right?I pray that God gives me strength. I will need to turn this over to God.....let go of food and lazyness!!I will try to keep a daily blog to keep me real with myself. I have to weigh this am and measure myself- I don't want to do that. I don't want to see how I let myself go. Oh the joys of life.....HERE I GO"

  1. I can have a total of 15 points - blah along with my 3 quarts of water (16 cups) So this morning for breakfast I had 2 eggs scrambled with a bit of water, pepper and a touch of salt! No butter in the eggs:( 4 carrots and I have started on my water. 11 points left for the day!!

    I have to eat every 2/3 hours. I have my timmer set and will eat again around 11:00 am.... what to fix - maybe some black beans and rice?? (after I brown the rice first)

    I will have to check about Coffee..... I would like a cup right about now!!

    So weighed in at 174 lbs today...... Goal weight 140/135. This makes me sad....I had weighed 149 .... Oh well. God is GOOD and he will see me through this if I give it to him...

    Well- I will be back and tell you about the rest of my day!

  2. Ok- I just talked to PM and found out that I did my points wrong--- so I get 25 not 15... WOW, I am soooo Happy!!

    I need to make my shopping list of foods for me to eat.....

  3. all right! For Lunch I had bean and rice. Browned the rice before cooking and rinsed the beans.. it was great and only 4 points I am down 10 points and have 15 more to go.... doing good.

    Why is it the foods that I didn't want to eat before this diet look good to me now....ahhhhhhhh

  4. had a snack of peanuts - wow- lots of points stacked up in 1/4 peanuts- they were well worth it!!
    13 more points for tonight!
    I think some veggies sound good but I like to dip them---- is there a dip that I could have- maybe something with plain greek yogurt??

    Now for some hard boiled eggs ...mmmmm
